Oregon’s largest annual folk music concert event, a benefit for Transition Projects, will celebrate its 34th Anniversary tonight, $30 advance/$32 door, show 7 pm (doors open at 6), minors OK when accompanied by a parent or guardian.<br /><br />“Winterfolk” is one of those rare expressions of giving which brings disparate communities of our area together, in the common celebration of music and caring- and a sure knowledge that every dollar raised at the door goes to the folks it is intended to help<br /><br />For over 53 years, Transition Projects has delivered life-saving and life changing support to some of Portland’s most vulnerable residents. “Winterfolk” is proud to partner with this long time organization, working towards one of the most basic human rights.<br /><br />Performers include:<br />Tracy Grammer<br />Tom May &amp; Friends<br />Kate Power and Steve Einhorn<br />Jim Page<br />The Prairie Blossoms<br />Doug &amp; Judy Koch Smith<br />Hanz Araki &amp; Colleen Raney<br /><br />COVID Policy:<br />The Alberta Rose Theater will no longer be requiring masks for entry in alignment with the recent announcement from Oregon Governor Kate Brown.&#160;While face masks are no longer mandatory, our staff will continue to wear them and we highly encourage that you wear one as well.
