What is this?
Artichoke Community Music online class led by Martin Zarzar, a continuation of the introductory class, $120 for six classes, registration now open.
A continuation of the introductory class for all who have taken the introductory class or want to explore intermediate to advanced concepts on the cajon or other percussion instruments.
Class topics include-
1-Percussion
2-Polyrhythms
3-Technique and sound
4-popular rhythms played on the cajon
Each class will cover elements of each topic above.
Class Structure: To make the most of the time together, the class will divided as follows:
1- 15 minute lecture on the topic of the day
2- 15 minute technical exercise and warm up
3- 15 minutes to play along with a different rhythm each day
4- 15 minutes of Q&A
