Aaron Canwell of the popular Kindie band, Micah and Me, is teaching a weekly ukulele drop in designed for parents, caregivers, and nannies who would like to learn to play the ukulele with their little ones in tow. This is also available to anyone of any age; just know kids will be tolerated!

The cost is $10 for anyone over 10 years of age (even if they bring their own ukulele). And $10 per ukulele for those under 10 years old that choose to participate.

Two Saturdays, Sep 14 and Sep 21, led by Gary Furlow, as an artist, you will eventually want to make a recording. So, where do you start? Can you do it yourself? At home? This workshop will be held in Artichoke‘s performance space.

The first week we’ll help you with setup and get you ready to record yourself to get the best result possible. The week between sessions is for you to complete your recordings. The second week at the workshop we’ll work on completing the mixing of your recording and explore options on how to add and enhance your recording, $50 for two workshops, beginners welcome.
