Herga at The Castle is a folk and acoustic music evening, with roots going back to 1963. We meet on Monday nights at The Castle – a Fuller’s public house atop old Harrow on the Hill with its panoramic views across London.

NOTE: Since the UK does not go on Daylight Savings Time until Mar 27, Herga at The Castle will start at 12:30 pm PDT on Mar 14 and 21.

The live club remains closed due to the Corona Virus epidemic for the forseeable future.

However, we are now running weekly singarounds using Zoom, and approximately once a month are featuring a booked guest.

To be added to the distribution list for log-in details each week send an e-mail to oldtimetim(*at*)gmail.com, or sign up using the form on our ‘contact’ page.

We are starting up in-person sing arounds, but Golden Link will still be hosting virtual sing-arounds on Zoom.

Virtual sing arounds actually provide some advantages over in-person sing arounds as well. We‘ve seen participation from people around the United States and around the world. Even for people who live close by, sometimes travel to our in-person sing arounds can be an impediment to attending, especially on work nights. So, due to the success of the current Zoom sing arounds, we plan to continue the virtual sing arounds in addition to the in-person sing arounds even when things return to normal. This would allow many more people to participate than we see in our in-person sing arounds.

Nov 23 (Tue): virtual sing around, Leader: Vern Lindberg
Nov 30 (Tue): member spotlight sing around, Leader: Bill Chandler
Dec 7 (Tue): virtual sing around, Leader: Pat Pauly
