House of Doolescu is delighted to welcome the incomparable Blum & Haugaard Band back to Portland for the first time in 5 years! The band consists of Denmark’s #1 folk diva, Helene Blum, virtuoso fiddler Harald Haugaard, Mikkel Grue and Sebastian Bloch on guitars and Sune Rahbek on percussion. The group is firmly established as the finest interpreters and innovators in the Danish musical tradition, bringing to life the nation’s cultural heritage at the very highest level of artistry.
House of Doolescu hosts house concerts in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. We are comprised of two Portland-area musicians, Mike Doolin and Nancy Conescu.
