About this event
From the heart of the country to the western edge and beyond, join us as we tumble through outrageous and questionable childhood memories, and other peculiar tales, $15 (doors open at 7 pm).
Trish Anderson was born into a family of iron-faced dwarves of ineffable cuteness in a carnival outside Keokuk, Iowa. Although she soon surpassed them in both wit and stature, the lessons learned during those vagabond early years have stood her in good stead in her subsequent careers as a faro dealer, loan shark, and ultimately an influence peddler and “fixer” around Portland’s City Hall. She currently lives in retirement in the village of Muttley’s Addition.
?Janice Alexander claims to be a retired schoolteacher. She takes great pleasure in creating small people made of clay, and also in creating stories. She joined the Portland Storytellers Guild in 2015 and has been telling tales ever since. (Some based in fact, maybe, others maybe not.)
Brian Rohr is a poet and performative storyteller, residing in the Pacific Northwest. He is the founder and director of “The Stafford Challenge,” an international poetry project inspiring over one thousand participants to write a poem every day for a year, influenced by the legendary poet William Stafford.
