About this event
The Portland Jewish Music Festival 2025 will be held from May 8th to May 18th at the Eastside Jewish Commons. The festival will feature two weekends of music, dance, film, lectures, workshops, and more. The first weekend will focus on Sephardic/Mizrachi music and the fusion of Spanish flamenco with those genres.

May 8 (Thu): Film - "On the Banks of the Tigris" (Festival Opening Night), 7 pm, $10-15 sliding scale, all ages.
May 9 (Fri): Brenna McDonald, flamenco guitarist (with Eric Stern, Oud), 12 noon, free, all ages.
May 10 (Sat): Flamenco/Mizrachi fusion night with Espacio Flamenco, Michelle Alany, and Eric Stern, 7 pm, $22 advance/$25 door, all ages.
May 11 (Sun): Lecture - Amel Tafsout: Jews of the Maghreb, Michelle Alany and the Mystics, Mizrachi Sephardic Music Concert, 3 pm, $8-15 sliding scale, all ages.
May 15 (Thu): Sklamberg Lurje Judelman Trio, Songs of Resilience, 7 pm, $22 advance/$25 door, all ages.
May 16 (Fri): Diane Chaplin Solo Cellist, 12 noon, free, all ages.
