What is this?
Puget Sound Guitar Workshop – Undeniably the world’s greatest guitar festival and a camp for all acoustic instruments and genres, it has now expanded to four weeks of camp, each with a different flavor and different instructors.
Summer Session 1 (July 27-Aug 1): Open Tunings - Off the Beaten String (Cindy Kallet), Songs of Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard (McKain Lakey), Flaming Hot Flamenco for ‘Ukulele (Daniel Ward), beginning classes in flatpicking (Laurel Bliss) and Old-Time Fiddle (Devin Champlin), and two songwriting sessions - Songwriting Launchpad (Aaron Guest) and Songwriting Workshop: Rutbusters! (Cindy Kallet).
COVID Policy:
1. Participants must have received at least one dose of the latest version of the COVID-19 vaccine (available since autumn 2023) at least 14 days prior to the event, and must provideproof of immunization.
NOTE: Vaccination exemptions may be available for participants who provide a letter from a licensed medical provider (MD, DO, ND, ARNP or PA) documenting a medical contraindication to COVID-19 vaccination.
2. Prior to arrival, participants must test negative for COVID-19 on the day the event begins, and text or email a photograph of their test to the event coordinator(s).
NOTE: We recommend testing prior to travel if possible.
