About this event
The festival is part of the bureau’s Summer Free For All program, which offers free cultural events and the Free Lunch + Play series in Portland parks all summer long.
Aug 10 (Sat): 6 pm -- Rejoice Diaspora Dance, an evening of dance from Afrobeats to Second Line, with original music performed by Darrell Grant and an amazing lineup of musicians.
Aug 11 (Sun): 6 pm -- Edna Vazquez with Mariachi Portland, A family-friendly evening of traditional Mexican folk music.
Parking is limited at Washington Park. The FREE Explore Washington Park shuttle will be running until 9:30 pm each night of the concerts. Take the TriMet MAX to the Washington Park stop, or park in the lots near the Oregon Zoo and ride the free shuttle to the Amphitheatre.
