Artichoke Community Music online class led by Anne Weiss, $100 for six classes. Become a better player—all instruments/voices/levels. All you need to know is basic chords, or you can know a lot! In this class we will take one new blues and one new folk song per week, listen carefully together and figure out what to work on and how to work on it to become a better player! You’ll be sent a nice, slow, clean recording of each song (by yours truly) plus chords and lyrics to work out your part, whether that is rhythm or bass guitar, voice, keyboards, guitar/horn/harmonica solos, etc. You will have the opportunity to share what you have come up with with the group (i.e., short “zoom” performances) if you choose, and get positive support and how to be an even better player/singer. This class will help you emerge prepared for the post-Covid music jam days to come!
