Self Portrait is a two-act solo show performed by Brittany Brook on her guitar and dulcimer. $23.36 advance/ $28.60 at the door (prices include service fees).

It’s a set of original songs (with sprinkles of Joni Mitchell, John Denver and Brandi Carlile) arranged around the story of her life. At several junctures, you, the audience, will help choose the adventure–will we get blackballed acting the role of a cheerleader on a major stage or swim in the grief of a parent’s diagnosis? Your being there will truly shape the show, so come ready to laugh, cry, vote, sing and maybe even heal.

Brittany Brook (she, ella) is a musician, songwriter, actor and trauma-informed teacher. Through singing around her guitar, she works to create community and healing for kids and their caretakers. A former New Yorker, she now lives and teaches in Portland on the land of many tribes, including the Clackamas, Molalla, and Tualatin.
