About this event
The Heartbleeders are a folk ensemble rooted in Portland, Oregon, led by Celtic harpist and vocalist Elizabeth Nicholson. The group also features Bob Soper on fiddle, guitar, and vocals — a long-time musical partner — and Rylan Suehisa on bodhran, guitar, and vocals.
Their instrumentation blends harp, fiddle, guitar, and bodhran, creating a sound that draws from Celtic traditions and American folk music. Vocally, the trio emphasizes lush three-part harmonies, a signature element that gives their performances both poignancy and energy.
