Johnny Young
It seems Johnny has traveled most every mile of highway in America, playing his heart out for audiences both intimate, and grand. From The Nashville Palace, to The Vans Warped Tour, 30 Rock, to the Winter Olympics, this versatile guitar picker has toured internationally, shared the stage with legends, and affirmed his status as one of the hardest working acts on the planet.

Special guests:
Kaia Müller
The Wild Lilacs
Kelly Bosworth

Kelly Bosworth is better known to some in the audience as Howard student leader “Delta” in the early 2000s or Namanu program leader “Alpine” in the early 2010s. Kelly is now a professor of history and ethnomusicology at Oregon State University. Outdoor School made her a lifelong evangelist for inquiry-based education and interdisciplinarity. She is coming out of folk music retirement to sing some songs with us!

The Wild Lilacs’ Arbielle (aka “Radish” at Outdoor School). Arbielle is an award-winning singer-songwriter with an open heart, a beautiful voice, and stories to share.

Kaia Müller, known as “Sticks” at Outdoor School. Kaia is a Dutch-Indonesian/American singer-songwriter from the Pacific Northwest. Her songs blend indie, folk, rock, grunge, and experimental textures with theatrical vulnerability.
