This coming Wednesday, February 18th, is our annual Sad Song Happy Hour where, following Mr. John’s advice, we celebrate the worst weather of the year with the saddest, most maudlin songs we can find. Murder, disease, lost loves and loved ones, revenge fantasies, and life’s unfairness as expressed in old time folk, or acoustic blues numbers are all welcome and encouraged. Bring along some words, chords, or sheet music and we’ll sing our troubles away together !
