The latest edition of Local Lore, the PFS every-other-monthly newsletter, is just out, and it crowns a great year of Local Lores and a great year for PFS. 

As you probably know, PFS was honored at the FAR-West Conference October 15-18 with the Best of the West Ambassador award, which happily came during our fiftieth anniversary year. This issue has lots of photos and first-hand comments from PFS folk and others who were there.

But of course that's not all! There's news about upcoming concerts with Kray Van Kirk on November 21, and Amanda Pascali on December 12. (Find more about Kray and Amanda and get tickets here.) Kevin Nordlie's Take 5 interview this month is with singer Alice Wallace (and since she is known for working yodeling into her songs, we thought you might like to see and hear her in the next panel.) There's a profile of Board Member Jeremy Herzer, a singer, songwriter, podcaster and a host of open mics. And Tom Hubbard, also a Board Member, tells the sad story of "the corner of 12th Street and Vine" - and if you can't quite place that, this will help: "With my Kansas City baby and a bottle of Kansas City Wine!"
