Bluegrass night features the following bands:
Whiskey Deaf (1st & 3rd Thursdays)
The County Fools (2nd Thursday)
Sunny South (4th Thursday)
Whiskey Deaf is a Portland Bluegrass Band, playing traditional bluegrass, old-time and early country. This quartet features Annie Staninec, John Kael, Ethan Lawton and Forrest Marowitz. Annie's stellar fiddling and joyful vocals take center stage as they have on tour.
The County Fools are: Mark Klassen (guitar), Darian Santner (mandolin), Gerrit Vyn (banjo). John Wyatt (bass). They play authentic Northwest bluegrass.
Sunny South is one of the top bluegrass bands in the Portland, Oregon area, playing fiery bluegrass with tight harmonies and wonderful musicianship. Founding members Mike Stahlman (banjo) and Dave Elliott (mandolin) are joined by Steve Reischman (guitar), Dee Johnson (bass) and Nancy Padilla (fiddle).
