About this event

The Boasters and Possibly Irish - A Benefit for ACM live at The Artichoke, Irish music both traditional and original, &15 (doors open at 6:30 pm).

Arlie Conner and the Boasters
Coming up on 20 years of playing traditional and original Irish tunes, the Boasters are finally ready to share their first album! The usual suspects: Pete Pavenick, Carl Fink, James Kehn and Bob Foster will kick out the cobwebs and share their newest tunes, along with favorites from the back catalog. The Bathtub Toasters become the ‘Boasters’ near the middle of March, Bog knows why. The newly minted CD (or thumbdrive) will be available at the door. Come on down and get an earful of blarney!

Possibly Irish
Possibly Irish is a dynamic west coast Irish band from the Willamette Valley known for high energy, entertaining shows with their own touch of humor and rich vocal harmonies. Expect to hear traditional foot-stomping Irish/Celtic pub songs and fresh originals. The band blends their own modern northwest style witn rich traditions of Irish/Celtic music creating a fusion of energy and emotion that captivates audiences. The richness of their performances is enhanced not only by the diverse age and background of their performers, but also by a diverse array of instruments, including but not limited to the Irish whistle, Irish flute, bodhran drum, djembe, small pipes, mandolin, accordion, hammered dulcimer, guitar, banjo, harmonica and more.
