Join us for Countercurrent, a powerhouse acoustic duo based in Seattle WA, featuring fiddle, guitar, harmony vocals, and foot percussion. Alex Sturbaum and Brian Lindsay display a musical fluency that comes from a decade of playing together at contra dances, concert halls, jam sessions, festivals, bars, and living rooms all across the continent. When dancers and listeners experience the blend of lyrical melodies, groovy chords, thumping percussion, and vocal harmonies all simultaneously, the reaction is usually “How does so much music come from just two people?

We invite you to make a voluntary donation of 1$ or more for the live streaming portion of the show. 100% of the streaming tips go to the artists!

COVID Policy:
We no longer require proof of vaccination. Masks are optional when not actively eating and drinking. You are welcome to wear a mask if you need to take extra precautions depending on your personal situation. We will continue to have doors & windows open for air circulation. If you are feeling under the weather on the day of the show, it’s easy to cancel via a quick email, and we’ll also be live streaming the show as well.
