Artichoke Community Music online class led by Max Tucker, $100 for six classes.

This class will familiarize students with a handful of the most basic rhythms commonly used in popular music using recorded examples from different artists. Each week we will look at a particular rhythm and I will demonstrate how to play it on drums or percussion or your instrument. ALL INSTRUMENTS ARE WELCOME.

Rhythms will include variations of swing, straight 8’s and dotted 1/4 note beats as applied to different styles of music. Every class will also involve the students getting to try it for themselves and an impromptu jam session is not out of the question! No prior knowledge of drumming is required and all percussion equipment will be provided.

ZOOM details will be provided by MAX to all registered students before the class sessions begin.
