Kairos- Milwaukie United Church of Christ
An Evening of Celtic Music with the Switchlings and Ama Bentley, with special guest Claire Barnes.
The Switchlings are a quartet of multi-instrumentalists who perform a repertoire that includes Celtic and North American folk music, as well as original compositions that weave into the broader folk tapestry.
During the challenges of the pandemic, Kairos graciously welcomed us into their sanctuary as a rehearsal space. Now, we’re coming together to say thank you the best way we know how — with music.
We’re hosting a benefit concert to raise funds for much-needed building repairs at the church. It’s our way of giving back to a space that supported us during a difficult time.
We’re excited to open the evening with a performance by Claire Barnes, a talented vocalist and songwriter whose music sets the perfect tone for the night.
Suggested donation at the door: $10
