The First Sunday monthly song circle led by Cecilia Eng and Dave Mongeau will feature spooky songs.

Bring your songbooks, voices, and/or instruments for an afternoon of singing. A hat will be passed to defray the cost of the room. A small donation of $5 per person helps us pay for the location (a small open chapel down a short hallway to the right of the main narthex).

Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. You are welcome to share songs from any genre.

Latin Dance Night with Pa‘lante, $14 advance/$16 day of show (doors open at 6:45 pm). Feel the rhythm and energy at Latin Dance Night! Kick off the evening with instructors from Lines Dance Academy and an hour-long lesson in Cumbia footwork and moves. All experience levels welcome! Starting at 8 pm, Pa’lante will have you on your feet moving to a blend of salsa, cumbia, merengue, timba, and Afro-Caribbean beats.

Music in the country style, including western & western swing, cowboy & country blues, country folk, bluegrass, rockabilly, hillbilly, Americana, and honky tonk. hosted by Robert Parish, Wayne and Kathy Johnson, Wayne Selzer, Mary Rondthaler, and Gary Baysinger.

1st Saturday - Robert Parish along with son Graham play sets featuring particular artists as well as sets with a variety of artist.

3rd Saturday - Will Selzer - Blends all types & styles of country music from 50+ years, rooted in mid-20th century, men and women artists equally. The goal is to entertain our listeners and to have fun.

4th Saturday - Mary - Bringing a musician’s ear to the collective with a focus on older country and Western swing from the ‘30s to the ‘70s, always with a good dose of women artists.

5th Saturday - Gary - Countrypolitan Blues - A mix of eastern philosophy and western swing; the yin, the yang, and the do-si-do.

Aug 10 (Sun): 6 pm -- Tempos Contemporary Circus - stretching the limits of reality with acrobatics, experimental theater and quirky humor

An Evening of Celtic Music with the Switchlings and Ama Bentley, with special guest Claire Barnes. The Switchlings are a quartet of multi-instrumentalists who perform a repertoire that includes Celtic and North American folk music, as well as original compositions that weave into the broader folk tapestry. During the challenges of the pandemic, Kairos graciously welcomed us into their sanctuary as a rehearsal space. Now, we’re coming together to say thank you the best way we know how — with music. We’re hosting a benefit concert to raise funds for much-needed building repairs at the church. It’s our way of giving back to a space that supported us during a difficult time. We’re excited to open the evening with a performance by Claire Barnes, a talented vocalist and songwriter whose music sets the perfect tone for the night. Suggested donation at the door: $10

Tom’s folk music program is going on 35 years and one of the longest running music radio shows around.
