Every Wednesday from Jan 15 through Feb 26, led by Brenna McDonald, Introduction to flamenco guitar for the complete beginner or those who’d like more time with the basics, $100 for seven classes.
We’ll learn about classic flamenco right hand techniques pulgar (thumb), arpeggio, rest stroke picado, rasgueo, abanico, common chords used, and marcajes (marking patterns). In the winter session will start exploring music to accompany the popular andalusian folk dance, Sevillanas.
Classical, flamenco, or nylon string guitar required.
