Board Members Present: David Ingerson, Mary Ann Gilpatrick, John Kellermann, Dick Hamlet, Corinne McWilliams, Bill Moore, Brian Warner
David Ingerson called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm.
Brian met with Will Newman, former PFS treasurer, Brian has yet to get November or year-end reports, so he could not evaluate January report that our bookkeeper Morris McClellan sent yesterday. Brian will contact Mo and Will for 2016 reports, hopes to have January & February reports by next month's board meeting. David explained use of each PFS credit union account.
David presented profit/loss report by concert from Stan Davis.
Dick reported that we have 88 registrants and two cancellations, and that the break-even is about 90.
John will run year-end membership counts for past several years before next board meeting.
Goodman Foundation grant
David said they tend to fund existing projects, ours was rejected because it was just an idea so far.
Rob Hoffman's Play-Day in May
David reported that Rob updated and printed his own flyer rather than entrusting it to our graphic designer, Kim McLaughlin. Board discussed the need for consistent design of publicity for our sponsored events.
John will host, pick date before April 10 newsletter deadline. Need to recruit organizer.
Revision of membership roster
John will update database, run report, send as PDF to board, contact Will to see if he'll lay out booklet in InDesign.
New membership trifold flyer.
Supply of flyers is running low. Concert committee has a dozen or two. David says PFS needs to create an updated version. He will bring a copy to the next board meeting.
Sandy Bly's proposal for meeting re apparent volunteer crisis.
Corinne suggested a survey to members to determine what they value and are willing to do. David will respond to Sandy.
