Membership and IT
Report attached. Will (treasurer) suggests that John request that portlandfolkmusic.org registration be transferred to treasurer(at)portlandfolkmusic.org.
John moves that the board authorize Dick to select and contract with a new web hosting company in coordination with updating domain registration. Will second, passed 4 yes, Dick abstain.
Newsletter: David contacted Hush Ink for cost of printing newsletter with addresses, sorted, bundled and delivered. David will contact Laura and Bobbo to find out how much work is involved in preparing newsletter. Will suggested asking them if they'd be willing to also print labels, and if so, how much would they want to be paid.

Dick's proposal was discussed at length and withdrawn. Will is comfortable with only an annual report in May by committee since the committee doesn't handle money. Treasurer will resolve any discrepancies between Singtime report and PFS accounting, in coordination with committee.
Policy: Singtime committee will submit a report each May to treasurer covering previous 12 months.

Will says OK up to annual budget for each organization. Will recommends each organization has an adopted written policy statement explaining what balance is for, Mark's is acceptable.
Venue for the Christmas Song Circle: Corinne will investigate.
No August meeting. The next meeting will be Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 PM at John's house, 2612 SE Madison, following 5 pm potluck.
